Smart Rotomolding 4.0: Autonomous Grinding Systems to Digital Factory Integration

Time:2025-07-23

Full process automation

1. Automated feeding

Using a visual recognition unpacking device, a robotic arm is used in conjunction with flexible fixtures to quickly disassemble raw materials. After unpacking, the material is transported to the powder mill in a sealed manner through a vacuum suction system to prevent dust from overflowing and ensure stable transportation.

2. Temporary storage and measurement

The powder enters the environmental control silo and maintains its activity through temperature and humidity monitoring and an active filter layer. After temporary storage, it is transported to the measuring system through a sealed pipeline, combined with online particle size detection and dynamic feeding device, to achieve precise multi-component ratio and ensure that the composition and particle size meet the requirements of rotational molding.

3. Intelligent palletizing

The measured powder enters the fully automatic packaging line and is suitable for standardized packaging such as 25kg/bag. It is sealed through visual positioning and servo control. The palletizing robot stacks packaging bags onto pallets in a preset mode to meet the bulk supply needs of large rotational molding factories.

4. Directly used for rotational molding

After grinding, the powder is mixed and directly put into the mold for molding, eliminating the granulation process. Relying on precision grinding and particle size uniformity control to ensure fluidity and molding quality, shorten production cycles, and reduce costs.

Design advantages

1. Fully enclosed conveying

The entire process from unpacking to transportation is sealed, combined with vacuum suction and dust removal technology to control dust emissions, ensuring environmental safety and the health of operators.

2. Standardized packaging+intelligent palletizing

Standardized packaging specifications and intelligent palletizing technology are adapted to meet the supply chain needs of large rotational molding factories, reducing management costs and improving supply stability.

3. Eliminate the granulation process

Directly inputting powder into rotational molding avoids high energy consumption steps in granulation. Through particle size control and process optimization, the cycle is shortened by 30%, and equipment and energy consumption costs are reduced by more than 20%.
