Save 50% on Energy with Our Large Twin-Screw Water-Ring Pelletizing Line
Time:2026-01-27
In an industry where operational efficiency and cost management are paramount, our Large Twin-Screw Three-Stage Water-Ring Pelletizing Line stands out as a revolutionary solution designed to drastically reduce energy consumption while maintaining high output and product quality. Specifically engineered for plastic recycling and compounding, this system integrates advanced mechanical design with intelligent processing to deliver unparalleled performance and savings.
Core strengths
The core of its energy-saving achievement lies in its innovative low-speed, high-torque twin-screw design. Operating at a mere 10–18 RPM—significantly slower than conventional high-speed extruders—the main unit eliminates the need for a separate feeder, reducing both mechanical complexity and power draw. This deliberate reduction in rotational speed minimizes frictional heat generation, decreases wear on screws and barrels, and substantially lowers the energy required for motor operation, directly contributing to the remarkable 50% reduction in electricity consumption.
Granulation process
Twin-Screw Primary Unit: This stage is responsible for feeding, melting, and homogenizing the raw material. Equipped with a robust hard-gear reducer and a 300mm diameter screw, it ensures stable material plastication at low speeds. The integrated 6-zone, 80 kW electromagnetic heating system provides precise thermal control, further optimizing energy use.
Single-Screw Secondary Unit: Acting as a metering and purification stage, this unit features a 260mm screw and a 400-type dual-plate, four-position hydraulic screen changer. It filters out impurities without interrupting the melt flow, ensuring consistency and protecting downstream components.
Single-Screw Tertiary Unit & Pelletizing: The final stage delivers the purified melt to the cutting chamber. It is equipped with a patented 500-type rotary non-stop dual-position screen changer—a key feature that allows for filter replacement during continuous operation, eliminating production downtime. The melt is then cut into uniform pellets and solidified using the water-ring cooling method, which is highly efficient and consumes less water and energy compared to alternative cooling systems.
Wide Material Compatibility and Application
This line is versatile and capable of processing a broad spectrum of thermoplastic materials, including PP, PE, ABS, PS, PVC, as well as engineering plastics like PA and PC. It is equally effective for virgin materials, filled/reinforced compounds, and most importantly, for a wide variety of post-industrial and post-consumer recyclates. This makes it an ideal solution for businesses in film recycling, fiber recovery, lumpy waste processing, and the production of high-quality compounded pellets.
