Polyester Textile Waste Recycling Machine: Complete Line from Shredding to Pellets
Time:2026-05-11
Industrial polyester textile waste — including DTY scrap, FDY offcuts, weaving and knitting remnants, fabric selvedge, and clean staple fiber — offers strong recycling value through mechanical processing. These materials contain minimal contamination and consistent polymer quality, making them suitable for direct conversion into pellets without chemical treatment. The resulting recycled polyester pellets feed directly into RPSF (Recycled Polyester Staple Fiber), nonwoven manufacturing, and POY/FDY filament spinning operations.
Equipment Configuration
Feeding and Compaction
Loose fiber and fabric waste is transported via a belt conveyor into a compactor unit, where it is crushed and compressed. The compactor then forces the densified material into the extruder. This design ensures consistent, high-volume production capacity while effectively handling the low bulk density characteristic of textile waste.
Extrusion System
Depending on raw material cleanliness and production requirements, the line can be configured with a single-stage extruder or a twin-screw extrusion system. The single-stage setup employs one extruder with a single screen changer, suitable for relatively clean waste streams. For materials requiring intensive mixing, devolatilization, and homogenization, the co-rotating twin-screw extruder provides high shear and self-wiping action, ensuring excellent dispersion of additives and removal of volatiles, thereby delivering high-quality melt for downstream pelletizing.
Filtration
Hydraulic screen changers remove impurities at the extrusion stage. The system ensures stable production and consistent output quality.
Pelletizing Options
Depending on material characteristics and final pellet specifications, customers can select water-ring cutting or cold-strand noodle cutting. Water-ring cutting produces round pellets with rapid cooling, while cold-strand cutting forms cylindrical pellets through water bath cooling and subsequent dryer separation.
Applications
The system is capable of handling a wide variety of textile waste streams, including PET fibers and filament waste, PET fabric scraps and offcuts, PP non-woven fabric waste, woven and knitted textile remnants, as well as clean chindi and fiber clippings. The resulting recycled pellets can be directly used in multiple downstream processes, such as polyester staple fiber (RPSF) production, non-woven fabric manufacturing, POY/FDY spinning operations, and sheet or profile extrusion.
The PNHS series is WANROOETECH’s dedicated fiber fabric granulator line for recycling PET fibers, PET waste fabrics, and PP non-woven materials.

Operational Features
High Automation
The line requires only two operators for full production. PLC control manages material feeding, extrusion temperature, and pelletizing speed.
Low Power Consumption
Second-generation design reduces power consumption by 15% compared to earlier models while increasing output by 20%.
Flexible Configuration
Screw components assemble freely based on raw material type. Die head selection matches pelletizing style to material properties. Force feeder ensures stable high-capacity material feeding with low power draw.
Quality Control
Main screw includes vacuum exhaustion to remove volatiles. Each machine undergoes full running testing before shipment. Customized screw and barrel designs accommodate specific customer material conditions.
