PCB Recycling Line | Turnkey Solutions for E-Waste & Metal Recovery
Time:2025-09-09
Recycling background
In the face of growing global electronic waste (e-waste), our PCB Recycling Line stands as a state-of-the-art, turnkey solution designed to transform environmental liability into economic opportunity. This fully integrated system is engineered for the efficient and profitable recovery of precious metals (such as gold, silver, and palladium) and copper from waste printed circuit boards (PCBs). By combining mechanical processing and electrostatic separation technologies, our plant ensures maximum recovery rates, operational safety, and strict environmental compliance, offering a complete, hassle-free package from installation to commissioning.
Recycling process
The process begins with the automated and controlled feeding of waste PCBs into the system. Our Screw Feeder plays a critical role here, ensuring a consistent and regulated flow of material into the shredder. This prevents overloading, protects downstream equipment, and optimizes the entire line’s efficiency, laying the groundwork for a stable and continuous operation.
The primary size reduction is handled by our powerful Double Shaft Shredder. Utilizing shearing and tearing forces from two counter-rotating shafts, it robustly and efficiently breaks down whole boards and bulky e-waste into smaller, uniform pieces (typically 2-5cm). Its low-speed, high-torque design ensures low noise and dust generation, making it exceptionally reliable and durable for processing tough materials.
Following pre-shredding, the material is precisely conveyed to the Hammer Crusher and Pulverizer for further liberation. This stage is crucial for separating the metallic elements from the non-metallic resin fiber. The Hammer Crusher applies impact force to break the pieces down further, while the Pulverizer grinds them into an even finer powder. This intensive mechanical action effectively liberates over 95% of the metals from their substrate, creating mixed materials ready for separation.
The heart of the separation process lies in our advanced Air Flow Separator and Electrostatic Separator. The Air Flow Separator performs an initial classification by utilizing air dynamics. It efficiently separates the lighter non-metallic materials (plastic, resin) from the heavier metal mixtures with a high recovery rate, greatly reducing the load on the subsequent stage. The concentrated metal mixture then enters the Electrostatic Separator, the core of the recovery process. It uses high-voltage charges to separate materials based on their conductivity differences. This highly precise method achieves a separation purity of up to 99%, ensuring high-purity metals are recovered.
Throughout the entire process, from shredding to pulverizing and separating, our Pulse Dust Collector operates continuously to maintain a clean and safe working environment. It effectively captures over 99% of the fine dust particles generated, preventing air pollution and protecting both equipment operators and the machinery itself. This is not just an accessory but an integral component of our eco-friendly design, ensuring the plant meets the strictest international environmental and industrial safety standards.
Recycling advantages
Our turnkey PCB recycling Line delivers maximum profitability and operational efficiency. It achieves over 99% metal recovery purity through advanced shredding, crushing, and electrostatic separation. The fully automated system ensures continuous operation with minimal labor, while the integrated pulse dust collector guarantees an eco-friendly process, meeting strict international standards.
