What is rotomolding?
Rotomolding, also known as roll molding, rotary molding, rotary molding, etc., is a thermoplastic hollow molding method. The method is to first add plastic raw materials into the mold, and then the mold along two vertical axis rotating and heating, plastic raw materials in the mold under the action of gravity and heat energy, gradually uniform coating, melting adhesion on the entire surface of the mold cavity, forming the required shape, and then after cooling and shaping the products.

In the molding process, the wall thickness of products is uniform, and there is no scrap edge, no weld; Products with a wide range of wall thickness can be molded, such as polyethylene rotating-shaped parts, with a wall thickness range of 1~16mm. In the molding process, because the rotary molding process only requires the strength of the frame to support the weight of the material, the mold and the frame itself and the closing force to prevent material leakage, so even if the processing of large and oversized plastic parts, there is no need to use very heavy equipment and mold. Therefore, in theory, there is almost no upper limit on the size of the products made by rotary molding process.
