How to make plastic pellets from recycled plastic?

Process flow
The basic process of manufacturing plastic pellets from recycled plastics is as follows: first, classify and preprocess the waste plastics, separate them by type and remove impurities such as metals and labels, clean stains, and crush them into small pieces; Add the dried fragments to the extruder, melt them by heating (temperature adjusted according to the type of plastic, such as PET at about 260-280 ℃), and extrude them into strips; The strip is solidified by water or air cooling, and then cut into uniform particles (usually 2-5 millimeters in diameter) using a granulator; Finally, select qualified particles and package them, and they can be used for reproduction.

Related equipment
Shredder/crusher – crushes classified waste plastics (such as bottles, cans, packaging) into small pieces for subsequent melting and processing. Cleaning tank/friction cleaning machine – removes stains, oil stains, label adhesive and other impurities on the surface of plastic fragments through water washing or mechanical friction. Centrifugal dehydrator/hot air dryer – removes moisture from cleaned plastic fragments to avoid plastic degradation or bubbles caused by moisture during melting. Single screw/twin-screw extruder – the core equipment that melts dry plastic into a uniform melt through heating and screw rotation, and continuously extrudes it into strips. Sink/air cooler – Quickly cool extruded plastic strips to solidify and shape them for cutting.
Strip cutting machine/underwater cutting machine – Cut cooled plastic strips into uniform particles (diameter 2-5 millimeters) to meet reuse needs.
