Brief introduction

Paper-plastic separator, is a specialized equipment for paper-plastic separation. Generally by physical means, the fibers in paper-plastic are separated from various impurities (such as wood chips, sand, plastic flakes, etc.) to provide high-quality raw materials for subsequent pulp processing and paper manufacturing.

Applicable materials

Poly paper separating machine is widely used in papermaking, printing, packaging and other industries, especially in the process of waste paper recycling and wood pulp preparation. It is capable of handling various raw materials, such as old books, old newspapers, waste paper, waste fiberboard, wood, etc. The impurities in the raw materials are separated from the fibers by physical or chemical means to meet the production requirements of different pulp products.

Working Principle

Shell structure:
The shell is composed of two parts, upper and lower, with a delicate design to facilitate maintenance and overhaul. The upper shell is equipped with adjustable angle deflector plate, water spray holes and reverse wear plate, which can adjust the residence time of the material in the machine and the distribution of water flow to enhance the separation effect. The lower shell is fitted with semi-circular sieve plates as the key component for separating fibers and impurities.
During maintenance, the upper shell can be easily turned over 90 degrees by means of a screw device. This design greatly facilitates the inspection and replacement of internal accessories and reduces downtime for maintenance.
Rotor work:
The high-speed rotor is located between the upper and lower housings and is the core component of pulp separation. The rotor is equipped with stirring blades and multiple cleaning plates, which continuously impact and agitate the incoming paper and plastic during rotation to promote the separation of fibers and impurities.
The synergistic effect of the mixing blades and cleaning plates, together with the cleaning effect of the rinsing water, enables the crushed fibers to be smoothly funneled into the discharge chute through the sieve plate underneath, while the plastic and other impurities are pushed towards the discharge port to achieve efficient separation.
Clearance control between the cleaning plate and the screen plate is crucial, generally need to be maintained between 2-3mm to ensure the best separation effect and prevent the screen plate paste material. Too large or too small a gap will affect the separation effect, need to be regularly checked and adjusted.
Water spray system and deflector plate:
The water spray system sprays water into the machine through 6-10mm diameter water spray holes, which plays the role of cleaning and flushing, and helps to completely separate fibers and impurities. The water spray holes need to be checked regularly to prevent clogging and affect the sorting effect.
The angle of the deflector plate can be adjusted according to the amount of paper content in the waste material, in order to control the residence time of paper in the machine and further optimize the separation effect.
